Hospital and staff were very good in all aspects.
What a lovely hospital. Safe were so friendly and happy to help with directions on where to go.
The staff on the Gloucester wing were so professional, kind and welcoming. They reduced anxiety.
Hospital was clean.
Highly recommend this hospital.
I have been very happy with the care I have received at St Albans City Hospital. They have always been very kind and helpful. I feel that I am in good hands. The doctors and nurses are very good at explaining a diagnosis and making sure patients feel comfortable and reassured. The follow up is excellent.
NHS St Albans De La Mare ward - orthopaedic rock stars!!!. No seriously, I have had two orthopaedic procedures here and I can't praise them enough. just brilliant.
pls see previous commentary.
I was treated for Breast Cancer at ST Albans under Tomson. The breast care nurse seemed uncaring and I had to contact the PALS to start my treatment and I wasn't treated with respect. I have been left with a deformed chest and continuous pain in the area and I changed the hospital at the end.
I feel totally let down by my surgeon and would never go back or recommend them to anyone.
My advice to anyone unfortunate to be diagnosed with cancer is to do your own research and not be swayed by the empty promises that they give you.
Stand up for yourself . I did not do either of these thinking that I was under the care of caring professionals. Never again would I trust ‘professionals’ with their advice.
Thank you to all. Especially the Urology Dept. Mr Rox
Either the receptionist at Runcie Wing this morning (4th Sept) needs further system training, or else the computer system needs a radical overhaul. There was along queue of people being asked question after question, sometimes more than once
